One of the core goals of the Winter Cities Institute is the preservation and dissemination of works relating to Winter City issue. Sadly, some seminal texts from various Winter City scholars have yet to be digitized, stuck in physical formats, with limited print runs.

Part of our mission is to make these texts accessible for the benefit of all scholars and practitioners. The Winter Cities Institute is excited to announce 2 never-before-digitized books are now available for free to the public.

Both Northern Cityscapes: Linking Design to Climate, and Shaping Cities for Winter: Climatic Comfort and Sustainable Design are available for viewing and download in our Resources Archive.

Our sincere thanks go out to Norman Pressman, who gave us permission to digitize and upload these works for everyone to utilize and enjoy.
