Winter City Institute,
Shaping Resilient Cities for a Changing World
Our Mission…
The Winter Cities institute is a network of Academics and Professionals, interested in studying Winter Cities Issues, and implementing effective policy to embrace winter to it’s fullest potential. Rather than hiding from the cold season, the Winter Cities movement seeks to harness the beauty of winter by integrating thoughtful decision making in our communities architecture, urban planning, and at all levels of policy-making.
At it’s core the WCI is a hub for individuals to connect, collaborate, to share information and experiences, and to better each other’s understanding of these issues. We strive to learn from one another, to create best practices, and collaboratively research Winter City topics of shared interest and importance around the globe.
